The lead time required for your student to start working with a General Academic private tutor generally ranges from 2 to 5 business days. This time is necessitated by three primary factors:

  1. Private tutoring is very personalized, and we want to make sure the student-tutor fit is good
  2. You rightfully have very high expectations of what you want to accomplish
  3. During peak demand (August-October) juggling all of this personality and schedules can take a bit of time

Our in-house software team has deployed a Learning Management System (LMS) to reduce staffing friction, but educating and inspiring little humans remains a task that fortunately cannot be fully automated by the robots or AI.

Note that this lead time only starts counting down once we have all the information we need, including meeting with you (in-person or virtually) to:

  • discuss your goals,
  • your child’s unique qualities,
  • and of course your family’s schedule!

However our Study Lounge does allow same-day walk-ins and is staffed with some of our most experienced and high-caliber tutors.
