General Academic collects and uses your personal information to give you superior customer service, to better match you with the appropriate tutor. In addition, we use your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest service offerings, service changes, and any other information you might want to hear about from us.
Your information will never be given to a third party other than the tutor, online advisor, or your student’s school. If for any reason you would prefer us not share information with your student’s school, please inform us of your wishes.
How we collect personal information
We collect information in three ways. First, you may submit your information to us via our website. Secondly, we may ask you for information over the phone and/or via our Student Information Form when you are registering for our services. Lastly, our tutors may collect information during their scheduled visits.
At times we may be required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that disclosure is necessary for the public interest.
