We are Houston’s most brilliant, experienced, and professional tutors. Our private tutors can help with almost any academic need from homework help to AP Calculus and standardized tests like the ISEE, ACT, and SAT. We also offer foreign language tutoring in most major languages including Spanish, Mandarin, French, and Latin.

Tutors can meet with students in-office, in-home, and even remotely using advanced online meeting software. Sessions can be 1-to-1 or held in small groups.

Parents usually have one of three goals in mind with subject tutoring:

For the utmost convenience, let our tutors come to your home. We drive to most homes within a 10-mile radius of our Rice Village office including West University, Bellaire, River Oaks, Galleria, Memorial, Heights, and Montrose.

Types of Private Tutoring

Enrichment Subject Tutoring

For the precocious student who wants to get ahead or is not sufficiently challenged in school, we can custom tailor a curriculum.

We typically meet with students once a week for one-hour per subject.

Sometimes generally referred to as “homework help,” maintenance tutoring is focused on ensuring students keep abreast with their classmates and don’t slip behind.

  • We typically meet for one to two times a week for 1 to 1.5 hours to properly cover one or two subjects.
  • Our tutors will help students get organized plus ensure they’re understanding the concepts.

If your student’s grades are below where they should be, then let our tutors help.

Depending on the current disparity between reality and expectations, we typically meet with students once or twice a week for 1 to 1.5 hours per subject.

Our personal courses are designed with specific content goals for your student’s needs, which can be for enrichment or remediation. Depending on the subject, we use Piqosity and other resources to:

  • review and teach content, such as preparing students for Geometry, Chemistry, or Physics
  • strengthen your student’s reading and writing skills
  • improve your student’s note-taking skills and their organization, planning, and study habits
  • prepare your student for a standardized test, such as the ACT, SAT, or ISEE

These personal courses are structured in 10 or 20-hour packages, and pricing is dependent on the tutor’s hourly rate and a:

  • 10% discount on the hourly rate for a 10-hour personal course
  • 15% discount on the hourly rate for a 20-hour personal course

We can arrange tutoring for small groups when the students are studying the same material. The most productive kind of group is when students are in the same class and generally at the same academic level. Group hourly rates depend on the number of students.

At nearly 9,000 ft² of chic, loft-style space, our newly expanded Study Lounge near the Rice Village is large and impressive. Tutors are able to meet with students at any time including nights and weekends. Our market-leading space includes:
